VOTE FOR JOHN JOHN!!!!!

John John made the top 24 finalist in a cutest kid contest for a local magazine!!! There was 120 pictures that entered into the contest and a mom of 2 frequent pageant winners and 2 of her friends chose the 24 semi-finalists. So go and vote online for your favorite(of course it should be John John#14) by going to http://www.familyfirstmagazine.com/ and clicking on the cover contest link. They said you can only vote once per IP Address (computer) so go to every copmuter you can and get your friends and family to vote as well! Voting will last until Aug. 1 at 9am. They will announce the 12 finalists shortly after that. The finalists will be given a photo shoot, and from these pictures they will pick the actual covers!!! So help out and submit a vote for my John John! It was also nice to see 2 friends of mine in the top 24---#23(I took that picture acutally-Candler and Emma Savage) and #16 (Dawson Martin). I did this photoshoot of this cute girl today and I was so excitied to edit them-here are 2 of my favorites! They are so cute! But I was really excitied to try out this new idea that I have been wanting to do for a while......so here it is! Cute?!?!? I think so! (thanks hannah for letting me borrow the bear and socks!)

Happy Birthday to Me!

Just turned 26 (July 20th)! Yeah! I spent it with my favorite people in the world-my 2 John's! We went to Atlanta and spent the day down there at the GA Aquairum. We had never gone and we don't recommend going in the summer or weekends-it was REALLY busy and too many people there, but other than that it was neat and nice to see it for the first time. We started out going to the Varisty the "Big V" and getting some chilli cheese dogs, onion rings, and a frosted orange! YUM!! Gotta love the varisty! Then off to the aquarium, lots of neat things there to do and see. John John loved it and that is all that matters! Then the highlight of my birthday......the cake! My mom makes my birthday cake every year and boy I love her for it! It takes her about 7 hours to make it, the 7 layer Jell-O cake! YUMMY!!! It is my favorite! See the pics below, I bet you wish you had some!! It was a good day, thanks to everyone who spent it with me and sent me birthday wishes! THANKS THANKS THANKS!!!

My Poor Baby!

Here are a few pics of our traumatic weekend. On Sunday John John was in his room playing and throwing toys.....of course. And then all of the sudden shatter and then screams! We jumped up and John John had blood all over him. It was a scary site, to see him sitting there with his face covered in blood and glass all around him. He had told us after he calmed down and the blood was stopping, he said "I threw the ball and the light broke-I'm sorry, but I am happy (with a huge smile and a huge gash in his lip)" crazy kid! So we went to the "Quick Care" and he had to get 3 stitches and 4 people had to hold him down. He kept saying "I am 3, so I get only 3 stitches." We were glad that it wasnt as bad as it could be! So, we tell him now that if he throws toys he has to go to the doctor and I dont think he will throw anything else.....hopefully! Oh, and this is his 2nd set of stitches in less than 2 years......hopefully it is not a pattern!

A Sneak Peek!!

Here is a sneak peek of last week's sessions! I had 3 sessions of all boys! I had 1 hospital Newborn shoot, a newborn(almost a month old), and a 3 month-slobbery little one!!! So cute! These are a few of my favorites! Just wanted to share, Enjoy!

ABC's

John John has been able to write his ABC's for a while, but we are trying to work on staying in the lines and not writing them so big and crazy. So, I bought a writing tablet and now we are starting to practice those ABC's! Check him out he stayed in the lines and didnt go crazy and scribble......He did good for the first time! We did the letters A-E today, but one step at a time! We couldn't be prouder!!

Baby James Project

So share this with anyone and everyone. I never thought much about it, but I am going to start counting the kick more often before my little one comes in 10 weeks. Happy 4th!

We went to a church pinic at a local park and had so much fun! We played in the water, played baseball, ate good food, had a watermelon eating contest, and later that night went to see the fire works! Here are a few pictures of us on the 4th! Enjoy!
